One codebase, both stores

One codebase, both stores. Native-feeling apps with offline handling, push, and a release pipeline you control.

Mobile App Development

Building the same app twice — once in Swift, once in Kotlin — made sense when cross-platform meant a webview in a wrapper. It does not any more. A React Native or Flutter build gets you both stores from a single codebase, and your users cannot tell the difference.

The things that actually sink app projects are not the framework anyway. They are the network dropping mid-write, the release that fails review three days before a launch date, and the push notification that opens the wrong screen. We treat those as scope items rather than surprises.

You get the app, the pipeline that ships it, and the store listings — with the developer accounts in your name, so you are never locked out of your own product.

What you get

  • iOS and Android from a single React Native or Flutter codebase
  • Offline-first data layer with conflict handling
  • Push notifications and deep links
  • Store submission, review response, and staged rollout

Typical stack

  • React Native
  • Flutter
  • Expo
  • Firebase
Is this you

Signs you need this work

If more than one of these is true, this is usually the service that fixes it.

  • Your users need the product in places with unreliable signal
  • You are paying two native teams to build the same feature twice
  • The last release sat in review for a week and nobody could say why
  • Push notifications either do not arrive or open the home screen regardless of what they say
  • Your store listing was written once, at launch, and never touched again
How it runs

Four steps, in that order

The same sequence on every engagement, because each step is what makes the next one cheap.

  1. 01

    Scope

We work out what you are actually trying to change, what the first release has to include, and what it does not. You leave with a written scope and a fixed price.

  2. 02

    Design

Flows first, then screens for every state. You see the interface and can click through it before we write the code it would cost real money to change.

  3. 03

    Build

Weekly builds on a live preview URL. You watch it come together instead of waiting for a reveal, and course corrections stay cheap.

  4. 04

    Deploy

Pipeline, monitoring, and backups go up with the product. We stay on for the first weeks of real traffic, because that is when you learn what you actually built.

Questions

What clients ask before signing

React Native or Flutter?
React Native if you already have a React web app or team, because the mental model and often the logic carry across. Flutter if the interface is heavily custom or animation-led. We choose in the scope call and explain why — either is a defensible answer and neither is a religion here.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes — listing copy, screenshots, privacy declarations, and responding to review rejections. The developer accounts are registered in your name and stay yours.
How long until the app is on the stores?
A focused first release is typically eight to twelve weeks, plus review time. Review is usually a day or two on both stores, though a first submission to Apple can take longer. We build that buffer into the launch date rather than discovering it.
Can the app work offline?
Yes, and if your users are ever on a train or a basement floor it should. Offline-first means writes queue locally and reconcile when the connection returns, with a defined answer for what happens when two devices edited the same record. That answer is a scope decision, not a default.
Should we build a web version too?
Often worth it, and often cheaper than expected once the API exists for the app. We would rather scope it deliberately than have you discover you needed it six months later.
